Does dyslexia run iin the family ?

This might show as a person who had great difficulty learning to read, or who is light sensitive, or someone who avoids reading, or reads for brief periods, or generally has problems with reading. Sustained reading might result in headaches.

 Does reading “fall off” quickly ?

This might show as a person who reads O.K. on the first page, but then after a page or two the reading “falls off” and reading gets rapidly worse and less comfortable. If continued a headache may occur.

Does the staring test show a positive result ?

 Just put your glasses on and look at  one word in the paragraph below for 15 secs without blinking (best under fluorescents and after reading for a while).
